Riikka Laine is a dynamic force in the world of padel — a passionate player turned international coach, entrepreneur, and author. After a successful corporate career as Head of HSEQ at Eltel Finland, Riikka made a bold leap in 2020 to fully pursue her love for padel. Since then, she’s coached across 10+ countries on four continents, authored four books (three published), and built a thriving personal brand, Tasty (Rica = Riikka), with nearly 40,000 Instagram followers and 8,000 on YouTube.
In just two years, Riikka co-founded Stockholm’s most successful padel academy, generating €250,000 annually with just two coaches — a testament to her ability to combine strategy with passion. She’s not only a skilled coach but a compelling communicator, regularly producing blogs, websites, and presentations that resonate with global audiences.
Her background in quality systems, project management, and digital transformation gives her a strong operational edge. She’s led ISO audits, implemented scalable systems, and helped launch new clubs with structured coaching models and process-driven development.
